What is VitiNord?

VitiNord is the preeminent international viticulture and enology conference dedicated entirely to cold and cool-climate grape growing and winemaking. Launched in 2006 in Riga, Latvia, this unique event takes place every three years, alternating its host destinations between Europe and North America.

The conference bridges international boundaries by bringing together passionate grape growers, winemakers, researchers, and consultants from emerging northern and non-traditional wine regions—including Scandinavia, the Baltics, Northern Europe, North America, and parts of Asia.

Bound by a shared determination to advance the grape and wine industry in challenging climates, VitiNord participants collaborate to solve the unique agricultural hurdles of northern latitudes, stimulating local economies and driving regional agricultural innovation.
